Whether you have all your cards on chapter one of an act or chapter 5, you reach the same point of the game being perceived as "too easy". According to some here the game gets too easy/boring once you have all your cards in play (along with good weapons and such) This is basically what card draw did in the opening levels, you get jack all for cards for the first few levels before your build comes online. If a person enjoys the brutality of the first few levels then they should simply limit their deck choices and enjoy said challenge for the entire match. you can make the game harder for yourself, dont use cards that make the game easy, dont use weapons that make the game easy, dont use cleaners that make the game easy Man do I dislike these type of comments.Įven with card draw the way it used to be, the game still reaches the same point at which you have enough weapons and cards to make the run easy. ![]() which should theoretically make you weaker for the long run.īy the end of the day I can only wonder: what were the developers thinking removing the old mode entirely in favour of the new mode? And I still think at some point during a run you eventually reach a point of break even, in which you would have the full drawn deck with the strong enemies - but now - I am not sure about it - you lack the additional cards you would otherwise draw when playing hives e.g. But it also took certain strategising away. Sure, I can absolutely relate that everyone would rejoice if they can enjoy their full deck right away. To me it was more a matter of course that it would be a 2nd mode when I first heard about the full deck thingy. I am still new to the game, just started playing like a week or two weeks ago, and I actually do not understand why the new mode has overriden the old mode. everyone wins and everyone can play the way they want to play. new super build mode or classic rpg mode. seems to me the obvious answer is to have full deck draw be an option you can pick when starting a run. it really made you appreciate the specific cards and what they add to your build, and made some cards the seemed amazing on paper less good in reality or other cards that maybe didnt seem as good better. I like full deck draw, although it definitely makes the game easier (especially in recruit mode, which is fine if you want to farm skulls), but i also really liked the challenge of slogging your way through harder difficulties while having to make the hard choices of which card to pick next. ![]() Originally posted by KromeHWI:pretty self explanatory.
